We are seeking 2 highly experienced professionals to join our Adult Social Care team as Digital Care Navigators. This role is not an entry point into digital care—it is for those with a proven track record of delivering outcomes through the thoughtful integration of technology into care and support pathways.

**About the Role**

This is a new specialist role requiring confidence, credibility, and competence in both adult social care and digital transformation. You will work directly with people, carers, and practitioners to ensure that technology supports independence, dignity, and choice—never replacing the human touch, but enhancing it.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out person-centred assessments to identify suitable technology-enabled care (TEC) options tailored to individual needs.
- Provide training and support to people with a range of abilities—ensuring confidence, understanding, and sustained use of digital tools.
- Act as a link between frontline services and digital innovation, feeding back insight, challenges, and impact to drive system-wide learning.

**Essential Experience and Skills**

You must be able to clearly demonstrate:

- Considerable experience working in a professional adult social care, health, or related setting.
- A strong record of accomplishment of using digital care or assistive technology to support people with complex needs.
- Experience delivering training or coaching to people who use services, their carers, or frontline practitioners.
- A confident, organised, and proactive approach to strengths based and strategic work across teams and agencies.
- A genuine commitment to co-production, inclusive communication, and listening to lived experience.

**Why Join Us?**
- Join a forward-thinking team focused on outcomes, not gadgets.
- Help shape the future of technology-enabled care in Wolverhampton.
- Benefit from flexible working and ongoing development in digital, care, and change management.
- Be part of a people-first approach to digital transformation in adult social care.

If you meet the criteria and are ready to take your digital care experience to the next level, we want to hear from you.

For full details of the responsibilities and requirements of this role please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification.

**Our working arrangements**

All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style. Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
