RSE is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical engineer to join our capital delivery team in Leeds. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Your role will take the mechanical lead for the business development, site surveys, project scoping, pricing,design development and governance of projects across several clients. Typical projects include upgrades to Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Oil & Gas, pipe handling, distilleries, and other assorted industrial clients. Salary will depend on experience.
- Detailed knowledge of Mechanical systems, Design Codes, Technical Standards, Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice
- Significant experience in pumped and chemical systems/handling systems
- Significant experience in industrial systems design and operation
- Significant experience in planning and carrying out intrusive investigation surveys of mechanical systems and installations on operational sites to scope the refurbishment and up-grade
- Experience, or an aptitude to seek out and price new business opportunities
- Experience operating in a fast-moving multi-discipline design environment
- Ability to plan and manage mechanical interventions on operational sites across the UK
