Orka Financial is currently working with a services business based in Reading which is looking to hire a Financial Accountant for 3-6 months.
Due to some recent acquisitions, our client need to add some extra resource in to their finance function and are looking for someone qualified (ACA or ACCA) to support them. If successful, you will get involved with group reporting, group consolidationsand statutory accounting. You will also play a key part with the external audit, acting as a point of contact for the auditors to answer questions as they arise. Previous experience of integrating new businesses would be an advantage and the ability to workwith people at all levels is essential.
The stronger your excel skills the better, the ability to use pivot tables and vlook ups are a minimum requirement for this role.
Working a 37.5 hour week, you will be in the office for three days and working from home for the other two. This role has been ruled as inside of IR35.
