**Direct Enviro TM** is a new and exciting venture. The current company DES has 10 years experience in highway vegetation maintenance and we are adding traffic management as a new service.

We are currently looking for a reliable and dedicated **Traffic Management Operative** to join our team. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working outdoors, this role could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management equipment, such as signs, barriers, cones, and road closures, in accordance with traffic management plans.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for the team and the public.
- Assisting with the safe diversion and control of traffic, providing support for roadworks and events.
- Carrying out pre-site inspections and reporting any issues with equipment or signage.
- Liaising with site supervisors, local authorities, and emergency services when required.
- Responding to emergencies or incidents and ensuring prompt resolution of traffic disruptions.
- Keeping records of traffic management activities, including site reports and daily logs.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Traffic Management qualification** (such as Lantra 12AB/ 12D or Street Works qualification) is desirable, but full training can be provided.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Previous experience in traffic management or roadworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and be physically active.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47.5 per week

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
