Job Description:

Traffic Management Supervisor / Operative - to provide own Van

Whites Traffic Management Ltd is seeking a Traffic Management Working Supervisor / Operative to join our dynamic and expanding team in London and Milton Keynes areas on a zero hours contract. The successful candidate will have their own van, be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of traffic management on worksites, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.

This role includes the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of various traffic management setups.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute traffic management plan installations competently and efficiently.
  • To manage multiple daily set-ups for reactive, short duration highway maintenance works. These setups include 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way lights, priority, give and take, and 15-minute closures.
  • Ensure all operations comply with legal and industry standards.

  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant certification LANTRA M1/M2 & M5/M6
  • A great attitude to work.
  • Valid driving licence (required)

Reward

  • Paid weekly at a rate of £18.00-£22.50 p/h on self employed basis
  • bonus payment for outstanding work

Location:

  • Working on a subcontractor zero hours contract
