Our studio is looking for a creative Part II Architectural Assistant to join our Nottingham practice.

We have a number of different projects, at different scales and typologies. This role could potentially be working on one single project or varied projects over different stages.

This experience is invaluable to you as you can enhance your CV with experience in working in an architectural practice.

During your time at our studio, you will become a part of the design teams, where you will be involved through the design process.

We are a small team, we are friendly, focused, and we forge personal relationships to understand our clients’ and contractors’ needs, ensuring that our design schemes exceed our client’s expectations.

As part of our design team, you will experience communicating with our internal projects team ensuring our designs exceeds our expectations. During your time with us, you will be guided throughout each process with our project team.

Every project is unique, as is our approach. We are a small team, and you will gain first-hand experience exploring design concepts, making, and testing until we distill an idea to its simplest, most elegant form.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you will be guided throughout the design process with our project team, this will enable you to develop your portfolio for your PEDR logbooks for educational development maintained by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

We are a small start-up business, we work remotely and also in the one studio space, where you will be working alongside the projects team.

**Your Responsibilities**

- Competence and clarity in communicating ideas and architectural design narratives through physical and digital tools.

- Resilient and determined.

**Design Skill**
- Comfortable with creative methods of visualisation.
- Fluent user of ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
- Skilled in physical model making and using basic model-making tools/machinery.
- Clear hand-drawing skills and confidence in using digital drawing tools.
- Familiar with the range of computer rendering and animation software including their relative merits and processing techniques.

**Knowledge Management**
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Previous experience as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant.

**Studio Contribution**
- Contribute proactively to wider studio projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship, internally.
- Contribute to promoting the studio culture.
- Represent the values of our studio in internal and external activities.
- Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with both internal and external teams.
- Attendance in continuing professional development and familiarise with emerging best practices to allow them to deliver technical excellence.
- Participate in learning activities, keep abreast of current technological developments and regularly attend internal studio talks, CPD’s and workshops.
- Share knowledge, experience, and lessons learned across the team and the wider studio.
