As an Architectural Technologist at A1 Architecture, your role will involve producing building regulations and construction issue drawings for residential projects. Production of building regulations specifications and working closely with the architectural design team and clients throughout the process. It will also be expected that you work closely with contractors on site making sure work is carried out to the standards expected.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Ability to produce technical drawings and construction details to comply with current building regulations.
- Proficient in Revit (Minimum of 3years) and the ability to learn new software as and when required. Any other design software experience you have would be beneficial.
- You will need a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Planning Process.
- Very well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2-3 years UK experience in residential architectural design.
- NBS experience is preferable.
- Ability to take projects from planning approval stage to building regulations approval and construction issue.
- Ability to prepare plans and documents for clients for design reviews.
- Excellent communicator of ideas and views.
- Good at working to project deadlines.
- Full clean driving license & own vehicle occasional site visits.
- Able to work from home.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Producing architectural documents to the client’s briefs.
- Creation of Revit models from concept through to production of information stages.
- Production of architectural planning drawing packages.
- Monitor ongoing projects on the project management system.
- Production of detailed building regulations drawings and construction details.
- Carry out measured site surveys to record the layout of existing buildings and produce Revit models of existing buildings.
- Experience in Architectural rendering and post-production is a bonus.
- Advise clients on design alterations and building regulations.
