We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Scrum Master to join our team. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will take on a leadership role in guiding and supporting our agile development process. You will be responsible for guiding and shaping the next generation of Scrum Masters within Sky, teaching and mentoring them to achieve successful implementation of agile principles & practices across our department. You will drive excellence through coaching and servant leadership to our teams and our wider stakeholders, to enable better outcomes for our customers

What you'll do- Provide leadership and guidance to multiple Scrum teams, ensuring consistent adherence to Scrum principles, practices, and values.- Act as a coach and mentor to Scrum Masters and teams, providing guidance and support in adopting and implementing agile practices effectively.- Facilitate coordination and collaboration between teams, ensuring alignment of goals, dependencies, and resources to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality products- Help teams manage and prioritize their backlogs, ensuring clear understanding, estimation, and successful delivery of sprint goals.- Identify and address impediments at the team and organizational levels, working proactively to remove barriers and foster a productive and supportive work environment.- Serve the needs of the teams, product owners, and organization by promoting a servant leadership mindset, facilitating self-organization, and advocating for the team's success.- Drive and champion the adoption of agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agility across the organization.

Educate and train teams, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters on agile practices, values, and principles, promoting a deep understanding and ownership of the agile development process.

What you'll bring- Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in multiple projects and teams, with clear examples of implementing department wide initiatives.- In-depth knowledge and expertise in agile principles, practices, and values.- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire teams and Scrum Masters.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.- Proven track record in identifying and addressing impediments and fostering continuous improvement. Experience with agile project management tools and software development methodologies.- Additional certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Agilist are desirable.- A wide knowledge of agile frameworks and scaling approaches with a deep understanding of at least one core framework- Proactive mindset, adaptability to changing priorities, and a strong sense of accountability.

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
