Head of Marketing

**Role**: Head of Marketing - MAOAM and Commercial Initiatives

**Location**: HARIBO Castleford (hybrid working; three days in the office and two days working from home). Occasional travel may also be required

**Working hours**: 38 hours per week

**Salary**: Competitive (plus up to a 15% bonus)

We are on the hunt for a ‘Head of Marketing - MAOAM and Commercial Initiatives’ to come and join our happy world of HARIBO

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a sweet seat within our HARIBO UK&I Marketing department reporting directly into our VP of Marketing. This role acts as one of two Leadership positions within our brand team space, whilst also sitting within our Marketing Leadership team alongside our Design Lead and Insights Lead.

**How you’ll contribute to the mix**:

- Leadership of the MAOAM brand including strategy, communications, product development and excellent execution of all initiatives
- The creation and delivery of 3 year rolling business plans for MAOAM based on deep understanding of both consumer and category that ensures growth ahead of the market
- Delivering all commercial initiatives e.g. customer exclusives
- Delivering a robust Retail Marketing Plan to support our growth ambition across our own shops
- Responsible for the delivery of Ireland specific growth plans
- Tracking and driving the business performance including working closely with Sales and Category teams to identify and pro-actively address risk and opportunities to the plan and the business
- Developing and delivering the brand communication and activation plans
- Developing and delivering the product NPD and renovation projects in line with the business plans
- The day-to-day management of direct reports and ensure long term employee engagement
- Working closely with your counterparts in the Global Marketing and Global Media team to ensure alignment and flawless execution of UK’s plans
- Adhering to style guidelines and legal and international corporate procedures

Do you have extensive brand and marketing management experience within the FMCG space? We are looking for someone with both retail and commercially focused marketing experienceare you ready to take on your next challenge?

To drive sweet success, we are looking for a result driven marketeer who has a proven strategic thinking track record. It is essential that you’re able to understand and demonstrate best practice with a strong passion for marketing innovation. Not forgetting, it is important that you’re able to manage and interpret consumer and customer research confidently whilst also anticipating trends and turn insights into action.

Excellent verbal and written communication is vital, are you able to communicate and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across a variety of functions with ease?

Storytelling is what we do best here at HARIBO We are looking for someone with strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading, interpreting and story telling data.

Organisation is also paramount to enable success within this role, it is important that you’re able to demonstrate strong planning, prioritisation and project management competencies whilst also working to and delivering on deadlines. We are looking for top-tier project management abilities with attention to detail and project timeline management focus.
