**SAFEGUARDING AND FAMILY LIAISON OFFICER**

**Grade 5, SCP 18 - 23, £25,419 - £28,226 (FTE). Actual salary £21,645-£24,793**

**Permanent: 36.66 hours per week / Term time plus 1 week**

We are expanding our safeguarding team, in the first instance due to an impending maternity cover but also as a permanent increase to bolster our safeguarding resource and expertise across the school. The postholder will work closely with our Designated Safeguarding Lead, senior leaders, staff, students and external agencies. The role involves managing safeguarding caseloads and ensuring that our young people are well supported in a safe and happy learning environment and that school safeguarding records are accurate and up to date.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in working with young people, preferably aged 11+
- Resilient, diligent and pro-active
- An excellent and confident communicator with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with young people
