A busy logistics company is looking to recruit an Administrator to work in their Birkenhead depot.

Working as part of a small team providing administration of all aspects of site activities.

This includes control of all inbound and outbound vehicle movements, through coordination with site personnel to ensure the correct processing of all loads.

Responsibility for accurate data entry and stock reporting for invoicing and stock control purposes.

You will be well organised and able to communicate effectively at all levels with our portfolio of blue chip customers.

Computer literacy and good communication skills are essential as you will need to liaise in a professional manner with customers, suppliers, contractors and lorry drivers.

**Duties will include**:

- Timely and accurate recording of stock data for Board, Steel and bulk products within excel and bespoke company stock system.
- Assist with physical stock counts on site.
- Co-ordination of transport bookings for the above product range including preparation of delivery notes and packing lists.
- Assistance with weighbridge operation for all inbound and outbound vehicle movements.
- Minimum education requirement ‘GCSE’ level or equivalent.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Data entry experience and a high level of accuracy is required.
- A knowledge of stock management and distribution would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Time management and organisational skills are essential due to the variable nature of the daily work.
- Ability to think logically and work with speed and accuracy is important.
- Ability to work flexible hours - weighbridge operation may be required during weekends and nights.

Basic working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:30

**Salary**: £23,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
