Customer Service Administrator

Working for this established and growing organisation, the Customer Service Administrator will be key to the continued success of the business. The Customer Service Administrator will work as part of a support team to provide a professional customer focusedadministration service, ensuring that the most effective systems and processes are followed at all times and customers’ needs are not just consistently met but also exceeded. The Customer Service Administrator will be rewarded with 25 days’ holidays plus BankHolidays, a contributory pension scheme, death in service, healthcare and annual pay reviews. The company are based close to Hamilton Square train station, so easily accessible from Liverpool, the Wirral and Chester.
Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
2 day work from home is available following the training period
Key Responsibilities:
To provide a professional customer focused administration service, ensuring that the most effective systems and processes are followed at all times and both, internal and external customers’ needs are not just consistently met but exceeded.
Overview of Responsibilities
- To deliver the best possible administration service to colleagues and customers through excellent written and oral communication
- Chase outstanding information requested ensure a prompt and speedy submission
- Maintain and update company databases
- Manage a stock of documents and marketing materials as well as general stationary, and liaise with remote admin staff for regional office stocking
- To deliver the best possible customer service when dealing internal as well as external customers
- Carry out general office duties and any other reasonable tasks, as required
Essential Skills:
- Must have a clear understanding of the importance of customer service to both internal and external customers
- High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to deal people at all levels
- Must be able to demonstrable ability to use own initiative and be flexible in personal approach without micro-management
- Must be confident in working both independently and as part of a team
- Must be self-motivated, with an ability to organise own workload efficiently
- Must be highly organised and work well under pressure with an ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to maintain both electronic and hard files and records accurately
- Excellent PC and keyboard skills, with proven experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
- Excellent literacy and verbal/communication skills
- Problem solving experience with sound analytical skills
- Experience in using computerised data management system is advantageous
