Rangeford Villages took over the management of Mickle Hill from MHA in October 2021 we are recruiting to fill exciting opportunities and vacancies at the village, to continue to grow our amazing team.

This role is responsible for the Bistro Team Leader within the Village.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Responsible for training, supervising and managing performance of the Bistro Team with the support of the Village Manager.
- Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure all Bistro standards and steps of service are met through all guest's interactions.
- Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where required
- Ensure staffing levels are based on business need.
- Organise special events in the restaurant

It is a condition of employment that the role holder has a satisfactory enhanced criminal records disclosure.

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must have a good level of spoken and written English
- Excellent people management skills
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with a very proactive approach
- Computer literacy
- Be personable and engaging

**Working conditions**
- This position will involve working week days, evenings and weekends. Flexibility is key.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
