**Full Job Description**

Duties will include:

- Preparation of monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
- Creation of sales invoices and data entry of purchase invoices using Sage Business Accounting
- Data entry of bank transactions - sales and purchases
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments
- VAT return preparation and submission.
- CIS paperwork.
- Respond to any queries, both internal and external.
- Scheduling customer visits in the business calendar for staff and directors
- Answering telephone queries for administration and accounts
- General office administration
- Can work well within a team and individually

**Experience needed**
- Experience in an accounts role, ideally within the construction industry
- Exceptional telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have experience of using Sage packages.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A multitasker with good time management skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Methodical & accurate approach with numbers.
- Local to Congleton, Cheshire

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Congleton, CW12 1JR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
- Office: 1 year (required)
- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
- Sage: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

- United Kingdom (required)
