**JOB PURPOSE**:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the UK Burberry Apprentices Programme and. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure apprentices are fully supported throughout the programme, liaising with all relevant stakeholders. In addition, this role will support with the administrative responsibilities of the global Learning and Development team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and deliver briefings for line managers, mentors and teams to prepare participants and stakeholders before and during the apprenticeship period.
- Organise any additional work-based learning in partnership with external partners; ensuring experience is gained to satisfy the requirements of the relevant apprenticeship and to further the apprentice’s employability after the programme. Including facilitating relevant training initiatives and present, when required, throughout the programme.
- Review Burberry Apprenticeship programmes through evaluation and monitoring processes to ensure Learners/Apprentices have access to high quality learning experiences.
- Accurately record and update information in relevant systems; including a running and up-to-date calendar of all apprenticeship activities.
- Provide individual support and guidance to apprentices with regards to any issues that may affect their progression on the programme and work with them to access any additional support required.
- Keep current with changes in apprenticeship legislation and compliance; manage and maintain the Apprenticeship Levy through the Digital Apprenticeship Service to ensure compliance with ESFA funding rules.
- Build, develop and sustain strong relationships with all key stakeholders (Programme Sponsors, Hiring Managers, Line Manager's etc.)
- Consistently act as an ambassador of the Burberry Apprentices programme and positively promote apprenticeships across Burberry and beyond.
- Support with the coordination of training activities and events (virtual and in-person): manage scheduling, monitor employee enrollment and engagement, manage training programme expenses, track and report on training reach and impact.
- Assist with ad hoc projects to gain greater exposure and experience within the learning and development function (i.e. Learning Management System and digital learning, learning content creation, social learning initiatives, training facilitation).

**PERSONAL PROFILE**:

- Previous experience and functional knowledge of apprenticeship programmes.
- Previous experience of working within a business environment, resolving issues, effectively organising and prioritising own workload.
- Having the ability to provide accurate and timely reports and records.
- Have the ability to form and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, apprentices, and partners.
- The ability to listen and provide support and motivation to apprentices and colleagues, assisting them to complete their apprenticeship.
- Commitment to continually update personal knowledge and skills to increase effectiveness.
- Good administrative skills and the ability to use Microsoft packages.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
