**Head of Finance - Glasgow**

**Salary £70k to £100k plus bonus**

Lusona is working exclusively with one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing Technology Consulting firms to source suitable applicants for the post of Head of Finance. The business is part of an international group, and they work with some of the UK’s most recognisable brands.

The Head of Finance will report to the Finance Leader in the US, will work closely with the local management team and will be responsible for leading all aspects of core accounting functions including reporting, month-end close, annual audits, and financial operations.

The main remit will include:

- Management of the company's finance, accounting, billing, purchasing, payroll and cash flow
- Direct a high-quality monthly close, explain financial performance drivers, provide high quality internal and external reporting
- Assuring smooth and on time month, quarter and year-end closing
- Supervising and evaluating the company's financial activities: payments, debt collections, payroll, deposits, etc.
- Monitoring internal controls and compliance
- Supporting financial and tax audits
- Managing the UK banking relationship
- Monitoring compliance of financial procedures with the law and tax regulations
- Managing key external relationships including tax, audit, and other accounting vendors
- Owning statutory audits and financial statements
- Building and developing a high performing accounting team
- Finding opportunities for efficiency improvements and driving implementation of the solutions
- Line management of UK based finance manager, revenue manager and associated teams

It is essential that applicants are fully qualified, ideally ICAS, with previous experience of managing a finance team in an international public company. Strong technical skills are also essential for this role with an understanding of accounting standards - IFRS and UK GAAP.

This role will be based out of their Glasgow offices, with the opportunity to work from home two days per week.
