Apollo Scientific is a leading supplier of chemical intermediates to the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical and Fine Chemical industries. Our reputation has been built on providing a high quality service, and our customer base consists of chemists, researchers, distributors, and manufacturers across a wide range of industries including academia, pharma/biotech, distributors, and manufacturers.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Sales Department. The role is to support the Sales team with all areas of administration including helping to process customer enquiries and orders.
**Essential Skills**:
- Good general education with a minimum GSCE or equivalent in English and Math.
- Previous administrative experience (2 years)
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, word, and outlook
- Flexibility to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Ability to deal with customers queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Driving License (Desirable)
**Principle Tasks**:
- Processing customer enquiries & orders updating customers on back orders.
- Carry out general admin tasks for the Department
- Ensure electronic and paper based files are maintained and filing / archiving is completed in a timely manner.
- Checking stocks & prices before quoting
- Raising Purchase Orders with suppliers
**Package offered**:
- Hours
- 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am till 5pm with ½hour lunch break).
- Salary
- £18,700 - £19,500 depending on experience
- Bonus
- Company/ individual performance related, paid twice a year.

- Holidays
- 24 days per year plus bank holidays (increases in line with length of service).
