SRG is currently working exclusively with a highly successful, rapidly expanding contract development and manufacturing organisation focused on providing expert intelligence and support to their partners, driven by their capabilities.

As a result of expansion, we are looking for an Associate Principal Scientist to join the ADME and Modelling team to provide their DMPK knowledge and experience.

**Role**:
All administration routes & formulation types for small and large molecules.

**Typical responsibilities/accountabilities**:

- Act as project leader for client projects, providing strategic and scientific DMPK-PD / biopharmaceutics advice, across all stages of discovery and clinical development
- Contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of non-clinical DMPK-PD and clinical pharmacology studies.
- Conduct non-compartmental and compartmental pharmacokinetic analysis.
- Conduct PK/PD analysis and population PK and PBPK modelling and simulation.
- Author ADME sections of regulatory documents, including INDs, NDAs, briefing packets, Investigator Brochures, etc.
- Manage and review CRO activities on behalf of Clients
- Management of the financial aspects of projects with clients, such as costing proposals and invoicing
- Author SOPs and / or best practices documents to set the standards for more junior members of staff and act as a mentor to develop the scientific and leadership capabilities of the team
- Represent the company at national and international meetings / conferences to build the reputation and awareness

**Essential Requirements**:

- Evidence of ability to program in a number of software packages / languages especially R
- Evidence of an understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics including noncompartmental analysis and drug absorption
- Experience of drug development and evidence of the use of modelling to inform project decisions in real time and support regulatory submissions
- Valid UK driving license
