**About the Opportunity**
Jacobs are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team, the role will be based at our Stockton Office however travel to other sites will be required.
You will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function and provide quality assurance monitoring and support across the Engineering, Procurement and Construction delivery teams to continuously improve business integrity and ensure that a quality service is delivered to our clients.
You will also be responsible for:

- Supporting the Engineering, Procurement and Construction delivery teams to identify risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans as required
- Ensuring that Quality Assurance audits are conducted by appropriately trained and qualified personnel to a pre-determined schedule.
- You will ensure that projects are adequately supported by the Quality Assurance personnel for Quality Assurance activities and that the Project Quality Programmes/Plans are prepared as necessary.
- Work as part of the team in discharging their duties that will enable effective engineering delivery across all directorates or business streams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement regarding project delivery encouraging a ‘plan, do, review and improve’ approach
- You will provide Quality Management support to the Project.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
**Qualifications**:

- Degree - level qualified/HND or equivalent
- Qualification and experience in both Environmental and Occupational H&S Management systems
- QA management experience of energy related major projects or complex project portfolio’s
- IRCA Approved Registered ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (preferred)
- You will have experience of Design Quality Assurance - Concept, Preliminary and Detailed Design.
- Experience in related engineering, supply chain and construction industries.
