We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Head of Production Chef to work with us in our central production unit in Wimbledon. This is an exciting position for someone to manage a team of 15 chefs in the kitchen. We supply 4,000+ meals per day - a mix of buffet food, fine dining dishes and retail grab and go. This role will predominately be Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week however we do require flexibility to work a 5 over 7 rota when required and depending on the needs of the business.

**Key Responsiilities**:

- To assist as directed with all aspects of food service preparation, production and presentation
- To ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost
- Coordinate and prepare a large volume of meals daily following several different menus and concepts
- Ensure appropriate portions and presentation
- Plan production, delegate tasks
- Lead and manage kitchen staff
- Assist with assessment of food requirements according to the menu and inventory, ordering the necessary commodities according to operational standards
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards
- Degree or diploma in culinary management
- Passionate about fresh food
- Previous experience of 3 years+ of foodservice or related management experience in high volume, food production environment
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Solid knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards
