Fp&a Analyst

We are recruiting an FP&A Analyst for a client based in South West London (Wandsworth / Clapham / Wimbledon area). This is a brand new commercial finance role reporting to the Head of Finance. You will 'bridge the gap’ between finance and the business byproviding insightful, value added analysis to help decision making processes around profitability and future growth.

Key responsibilities:

- Profitability analysis for existing projects.
- Profitability modelling of products and contracts.
- Create and develop an ROI process for future projects.
- Modelling of various pricing scenarios.
- Understanding the impact of certain decisions on profitability.
- Working with the Head of Finance to develop and improve the forecasting and budgeting process.

Your experience:

- I anticipate that you will be a graduate from a numerate discipline with a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles. You could be Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA however this not essential.
- Beyond this you must be able to demonstrate some sound analytical experience where you have worked closely with the business to influence the decision making process.
- Possess well developed analytical skills, experienced in the presentation of complex information in a user friendly format. This experience will most likely have been gained in a product driven business or a business where a significant amount of revenueis derived from contracts (WIP).
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is essential that you are ambitious, curious, inquisitive and a superb relationship builder, these attributes are non-negotiable as other technicalskills can be taught.
