Logistics Coordinator

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Analyse logistics data to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries.
- Utilise transportation management systems (TMS) such as Webfleet to track shipments and update information.
- Supporting other Logistics managers within transport and goods yard teams
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline operations.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of inventory and shipments.
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when communicating with stakeholders.
Completing Daily
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in logistics or a related field.
- Strong geographic knowledge of East Sussex for route planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to optimise logistics operations.
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations.
- An experienced People Manager or Team Leader who has managed teams in a similar fast paced Transport environment.
- Experience of mentoring a team to ensure they are reaching their capabilities.
- Be forklift Trained as loading and unloading will be required.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
