We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Associate to join the SLB Markets Legal team.

The Global Markets business offers risk management solutions, investment products and execution services to a wide range of clients, including Corporates, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors and Individuals. This includes Cash Equity, Credit, Credit Research, Equity Derivatives & ETDs, FX, Rates, Securities Financing and Macro Strategy services.

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Reviewing and drafting legal documentation relating to derivatives and security financing transactions within the Global Markets Business, with a focus on institutional clients, including master trading agreements, transaction level documentation, related security, netting and collateral agreements and all other types of ancillary documentation
- Providing legal advice in relation to regulatory developments affecting the Markets business and participating in cross functional working groups in connection with implementation of corporate projects
- Identifying, analysing, communicating, and embedding applicable legal and regulatory developments applicable to the Global Markets business, including reflecting such developments in legal documentation and processes related to its products, transactions and arrangements.
- Providing support to the Heads of Master Agreements, Head of Legal Global Markets and Head of Legal, Derivatives and Securities Financing on non-transactional matters and legal projects according to business needs. Communicating effectively with clients, counterparties, external lawyers and other external bodies.

**What you’ll bring.**
- English, US or European qualified lawyer with prior relevant experience gained in a law firm or in-house in a financial institution.
- Good working knowledge of current regulations relating to financial markets.

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills and a high standard of drafting ability
- Good knowledge of derivative structures and documentation
- Other European language skills
