**Admin Assistant at RIFT**
**Join Our Team**: Step into our Operations Department and play a vital role in supporting teams that process tax refunds for our customers. As an Admin Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring that all tax refund claims are meticulously checked, signed, and submitted to HMRC. Regular communication with HMRC and our customers will be essential to keep the submissions process running smoothly. You’ll also manage aftercare services, such as verifying tax codes and addressing customer inquiries.
**Your Daily Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and resolve issues with online tax return submissions.
- Ensure timely submission of signed tax returns and claim forms to HMRC.
- Handle customer calls regarding submission progress and tax refunds.
- Monitor and manage the “Signing List” to meet targets.
- Set up customers in Self-Assessment using HMRC’s online tools.
- Sort and log incoming and outgoing post.
- Maintain accurate customer data through filing and scanning.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Ensure correct tax codes with HMRC and inform clients of changes.
- Follow company processes and ensure compliance with policies.
**Customer Service Excellence**: Deliver outstanding service to all RIFT customers by communicating effectively to resolve queries, identifying and correcting inconsistencies in customer data, and maintaining a professional company image.
**What We’re Looking For**: We need individuals who demonstrate resilience and determination, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a strong team and work ethic. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, advanced Excel abilities, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be confident communicator and be happy working to deadlines and under pressure as the admin team workload is always high.

You will need to attend the office full time for this role, there is no option to work from home in this role due to the nature of the work.
