The White Horse Medical Practice is a rapidly expanding training and dispensing GP Practice of over 70 staff. We are a friendly, progressive and forward thinking practice and are always striving for efficiency and excellence in patient care. You will be joining the Business Support Department consisting of 12 staff working in a modern off site serviced office. The team pride themselves on working collaboratively to provide excellent administrative support to the wider practice. With an opportunity to work flexible hours to accommodate personal need and opportunity to work from home on occasions.

**Unique opportunity to combine Data Quality Assurance with the Clinical Coder vacancy to make this a full-time role of 37 hours. Please see additional job description included.**

**Main Job Responsibilities**
- QOF/Public Health (Recalls, monitoring)
- Producing reports and searches for the practice
- Monitoring/submissions for Enhanced Services/Local Services/Direct Services
- Ad hoc audits for OCCG
- Capitation (GP distribution)
- Monthly recalls (check/action searches)
- Monitoring cancer care reviews/Q-Cancer FU
- IMMFORM - Monitoring of IMMS/submission
- Data entry via DOCMAN for foot checks/DM eye screening/Smears/Ad hoc’s
- SCW data extractions
- Maintaining all Protocols are up to date
- Monitoring of QOF/Public Health and Quarterly Enhanced Service (Local/Direct/Indirect)
- Responsible for recalling patients for annual reviews / monthly Ad hoc reviews
- Q-Cancer follow ups
- Producing searches/reports for data recall/collections
- Data entry for all DM foot checks and DM retinopathy and all post colposcopy smear monitoring
- Ad hoc searches for dispensary, GP’s and nurses
- Setting up templates, using Snowmed codes for the purpose of extracting data from the computer for the use of audits

- To attend meetings and complete training as directed by your line manager

- To keep adequate and appropriate records to ensure an effective audit trail
- To carry out additional ad-hoc duties as and when required by the practice

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Being able to work well independently and within a team
- Self-motivated and able to manage your workload independently
- Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a willingness to get involved and support the team as a whole
- Computer literate or an ability to learn

**Desired but not essential**
- Administration experience within a GP practice
- Previous experience working with the clinical system EMIS Web and Docman (not essential as all training and support will be given)

**Clinical Coder Administrator**

**Full time option to combine both Data Quality Administration and Clinical Coder role that complement each other and enhance both roles.**

£11.00 per hour (to increase to £11.50 post probation) 37 hours working across Monday - Friday, days/hours negotiable with flexible working available.

**Main Job Responsibilities**
- Monitor and review all incoming correspondence through Docman and code appropriately, highlighting and forwarding any actions to clinical and non-clinical staff members
- Amend filing errors and coding as and when necessary
- Ongoing tidying of patient’s medical records
- Summarise patient paper notes into electronic record when required
- Scan patient-related documents onto Docman, ensuring all appropriate information regarding the document is recorded
- Ensure incoming letters are scanned onto the patient record within a timely manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 37 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
