**Job Role**: Room Leader

**Hours**:37 per week/ All Year/ **Four days a week**

We are currently seeking people who are passionate about childcare to join our team of staff as a Pre-School Room Leader. Our staff are essential to the smooth running of our nurseries and are valued members of the team; you will build relationships with children and parents and be involved fully in nursery life.

There will be an opportunity to train and become the nursery SENCO.

**You will responsible for -**
- Acting as designated key person for a allocated number of children.
- Ensuring you observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
- Developing positive partnership with parents.
- Leading, developing and managing your room staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Key holder for the nursery

**Qualifications/Experience/Training essential for the position of Nursery Room Leader: -**
- Minimum Level 3 in childcare qualification
- Strong people skills and previous experience of running a room
- Good time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS
- Experience of Ofsted inspections
- Working as part of a wider management structure within the Nursery.
- Supporting team development.
- Working in partnership with parents.
