With 20 years of experience Stoneacre now operates from over 45 nationwide car dealerships. Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be teaming up with Stoneacre Motor Group to help them find their next IT Support Technician. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and for providing efficient IT support to all business users.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Stoneacre massively values career development and progression so this is the ideal place to start your career.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Image/build desktops/laptops ready for use
- Provide customer service technical support (deskside/over the phone/remotely) to our end users
- To maintain control of the stock of IT equipment
- Prepare equipment to be dispatched to sites when needed
- Log support tickets in accordance with our IT support processes and maintain documentation
- Allocate more complex support issues to the relevant member of the IT team
- Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
- Basic administration of telephony systems
- Basic administration of user logins for various systems

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- Logical and analytical, with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Organised
- Ability to work under own initiative and willing to take personal responsibility for issues
- Self-motivated team player, resourceful and keen to learn and share knowledge
- Able to manage multiple priorities, be flexible and conscientious
- Be willing to attend training as necessary to keep up to date with the latest technology and internal system processes

- Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Maths is essential

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £12,000 - £18,000 per annum
- 40 hours per week - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (flexible to suit public transport)
- 20 days holiday entitlement (plus 8 bank holidays)
- Office-based role

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

**Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships**

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance, and setting up virtual environments. You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.

With a Baltic Apprenticeship, you'll be on your way to a long-term career in the IT industry. On completion of their apprenticeship programme, 95% of our learners remain in full-time employment or progress onto a higher-level apprenticeship.
