**Technical Sales Representative** JOB PURPOSES**
To facilitate product sales and after sales technical support to clients in the Area of operations in line with the Company’s overall business strategy and objectives.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** **The job holder has direct accountability to support all operations within the Area of Responsibility, ensuring costs are controlled (products, equipment, maintenance, etc.).
- Maintains a close working relationship with Engineering Shipping and Compliance ensuring that a high level of support is forthcoming to aid short
- and long-term activities.
- Ensure Area of Responsibility is effectively supported to meet the forecast revenue generated from sales.
- Ensures that the required level of operational/technical experience is maintained, and adequate training of staff is carried out.
- Participate in the long-term planning process identifying any future capital expenditure is brought to the attention of local management to meet the future needs of the Area of Responsibility are met.
- Maintain regular contact with Management providing them with support and is kept up to date of all activities. Make recommendations to direct expenditure to the areas where greatest profit will ensure.
- Contact customers within the Area of Responsibility to enhance and promote Company products/services, secure new business and sustain business relationships with existing clients.
- Provide internal operations with technical support and development/ within the Area of Responsibility business unit.
- Utilize software perforation analysis for well enhancement review / Pulsefrac modelling and/or WEM GEM solutions for internal analysis and customer support.
- Visit customers for one-to-one meetings to be available at short notice for any incident related issues requiring a technical root cause analysis and market growth opportunity.
- Provide basic training awareness on RP-67 and basic product training and presentation where necessary
- Work with management and sales teams in creating budgets and business plans and strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and important suppliers so that Area of Responsibility can meet its objectives.
- Performance metrics will be established and agreed upon and goals and objectives will be set jointly by the Management and job holder.
- Performance against the plan is monitored to ensure the right direction is being taken by job holder and reviewed/updated to meet the changing needs of the business unit.
- Actively ensures that his/her own health & safety, and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times.
- Ensures full awareness of and compliance with the requirements of all relevant Company/Customer QHSE Handbooks, procedures, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure operational activities with Area of Responsibility comply with the company’s policy and procedures and are performed in a cost-effective manner, maximizing the use of Company resources.
- Undertake other duties as assigned
**JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales or technical support position in the cased hole wire line, TCP or Oil and Gas completions services business.
- 10 years field operations/supervision.
- A degree in Mechanical or Petroleum engineering a plus.
- Must have a high level of computer skills.
- Must have a high level of organizational, man management and communication
**DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY**
Decisions relating to best use of Company’s resources, interpretation of policy, day-to
- day management taken by the job holder.
Evaluate and recommend when applicable new policy/procedures/company strategy to Management.
**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**
Work with Regional Business Development Management and Core Lab Senior Managers to ensure required level of base support and selected clients and suppliers.
