**Senior Category Manager - EMEA**

**Hybrid - 1-2 days in West London office

**The role**:

- Reporting directly to the Category Development Director EMEA you will be responsible for the Europe and Asia region building capability, competitive advantage and be an expert on Perfect Store.
- To manage and develop the category in multi-market retail channels based on Company strategic goals and deep understanding of Shopper behavior and market trends helping to achieve Company sales, distribution and share targets
- To build and develop partner relations with Key multi-market Customers through understanding of Customer Strategy and providing win-win-win solutions (Shopper-Customer-Supplier), to establish them as Category expert and valuable supplier
- To provide thorough understanding of shopper attitudes, needs and behavior in specific product categories and communicate key learning across Sales and Marketing, transform Shopper knowledge into actionable recommendations to drive in-store excellence.
- Work closely with local market-based Category Development Managers recommending ways to build the right range by channel and format to maximize sales and marketing strategies whilst improving profitability above budgeted levels. Lead consistent approachto space management tools across the region.
- Recommend the correct promotional strategy, timing and mechanics to support, develop the framework and tools for continuous tracking and ROI improvement.
- Will be an experienced Senior Category Manager, preferably with 5-7 years experience operating in FMCG / CPG
- Be an expert at using NPD/GFK/Kantar/ACNielsenturning complex data into simple stories able to develop engaging Category Strategies and Visions
- Have experience using the visions to drive customer engagement and decision making
- An ability to influence is paramount as you will be required to influence at all levels internally and externally.
