NQC is a successful and growing Manchester City Centre based software company specialising in supply chain risk management platforms.
We're in the ‘Tech for Good' space, providing online web platforms which are in use by some of the largest organisations across a number of industries including the UK Government, the Automotive industry and the Defence & Aerospace industry.
Our purpose is to assess supply chains, accelerate their transformation and advance positive global change.
We're seeing lots of activity in this space with organisations becoming engaged in both understanding their suppliers and proactively working to build sustainable, ethical and responsible supply chains.
Due to business growth, we have a newly created role within our Sales and Marketing team.
We looking for a German speaking Business Development Executive to assist in our pre-sales and onboarding process for prospective customers. You will be tasked with developing relationships with large multinational organisations, and facilitating an understandingof how our product can support their sustainability and supply chain strategies.
The Business Development Executive will be required to undertake the following responsibilities as part of their day to day activities:
- Prospecting and demonstrating our product to clients over video calls both in English and German
- Researching and identifying opportunities for growth
- Working alongside the marketing department to market the product effectively
- Developing a strong pipeline for business opportunities
- Working effectively and collaboratively with other departments
- Ability to completing proposals in a timely manner
- Able to manage complex sales engagements
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrable track record of previous business development sales success.
- Experience in IT sector with SaaS and Managed Services.
- Fluent German language skills are essential for this role.
- Target driven and self motivated.
- The ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to present effectively.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in particular the ability to provide clear advice.
- Ability to deal with a demanding workload which may include conflicting demands on time.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Ability to persuade, influence and listen to others, using reason and co-operation to reach agreement.
- Communicates and receives ideas, views and information to achieve understanding.
- Highly motivated, committed and able to perform their role to a high standard.
