**Part-time Receptionist/Admin Assistant - Compton House Nursing Home.**
18 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 8am - 2pm.
**Job Summary**
**Compton House Nursing Home, located in Lindfield** is proud to have been rated Outstanding by the CQC. This could not have been achieved without the dedication of our fantastic staff and we are now looking for a part time receptionist/admin assistant to join our team.
This opportunity will suit someone who thrives in a friendly, supportive team environment and loves a busy role with plenty of variety and people contact.
**Responsibilities**
To be responsible for management office administration, providing administrative support to the management team thus contributing to the smooth running of the home. To greet visitors in person and ensure all visitors and contractors are checked in and out on our e-reception accordingly.
**Main Duties**
- To provide efficient administrative support to the management team as required.
- Answering the phone and handling or directing calls as appropriate.
- Greeting visitors in person and ensuring the correct use of e-reception at all times.
- General administration as required i.e. typing, filing, shredding, printing, photocopying, laminating.
- Maintain effective communication with the management team to ensure all relevant admin tasks are covered and completed on time.
**Our requirements**:
- Previous experience of an administration role in an office environment.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a varied workload to required timescales.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Great telephone manner.
- A team player with a sense of humour and an empathy for working with the elderly.
- Someone who is positive and flexible in their approach to work.
- Computer literate with sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to work confidentially and with discretion.
- To attend and complete all mandatory classroom and online training relevant to the role.
