The Head of Portfolio will be responsible for leading our single Portfolio Office for all Change and Transformation initiatives at Currys. The Head of Portfolio will be responsible for leading our Transformation planning and prioritisation activities across our significant portfolio of change, supporting unblocking issues, and often making challenging assessments and recommendations to our ExCo.

**Key role responsibilities**
- Provide a clear & simple governance processes to oversee our portfolio from new demand, prioritisation through to delivery and close of our initiatives
- Successfully manage new demand - assessing alignment to our vision and strategy, as well as deliverability and absorbability - ensuring initiatives are assess and prioritised
- Manage our portfolio resourcing process - supporting the successful delivery of our initiatives, prioritising our limited resources on the right initiatives, and keeping control of our use of externals / 3rd parties
- Owning and delivering clear and concise portfolio communications - including regular reporting on our portfolio of change up to ExCo level
- Build delivery capability through a single and clear delivery model, templates tools and team development
- Ensure that Risks and Issues are effectively identified reported and resolution is supported

**Key skills, qualifications & experience**
- Must have senior level stakeholder experience and be comfortable at working with senior stakeholders up to ExCo level
- Must have worked as a Transformation Portfolio lead for a similar organisation previously
- Must be confident at making often difficult decisions and recommendations up to ExCo level
- Must be highly resilient and dynamic
- Must have excellent analytical, organisational and presentation skills
- Retail experience highly preferable
- Consulting experience - Big 4 preferable
- Ideally has prior experience working in a delivery organisation as well as in a Portfolio / PMO capacity
- Transformation / Roadmap Planning and governance
- Leadership
