Customs Coordinator required. Our client is a one of the world’s largest Freight Forwarder’s. Due to the on-going success and business wins our client requires an experienced Customs Coordinator to join a dynamic and growing team based in their Bristol Office.

As the Customs Coordinator you will be supporting the forwarding team by creating and inputting Customs and other necessary declarations in compliance with relevant legislation in a timely manner to meet our client’s customer requirements. Liaising withcustomers, Customs authorities and handling import Customs clearances from start to finish to support the successful forwarding of the goods.

**Customs Coordinator - Position Overview**
- Receiving in and processing customer shipment details, using the internal IT systems to create job files and accurately enter all the required information including relevant costs and customer charges.
- Daily checks of vessel ETA’s and ETDs against job files and updating the internal systems where required, informing customers of any significant time changes.
- Undertaking Customs Entries and updating customers as required
- Processing Customs clearances against the relevant job files and updating customers.
- as required.
- Sending approved invoices out to customers for payment.
- Undertaking general administrative duties to support the forwarding processes.
- Assist the wider team to ensure an effective forwarding service.
- Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role to meet the needs of the business.

**Customs Coordinator - Position Requirements**
- Experience in a Customs Entry clerk role
- Experience of using CHIEF systems
- Experience in CDS (Desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Strong customer service skills
- Proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the UK Customs Tariff for Imports and Exports
- Understanding of Customs requirement

**Customs Coordinator - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £25,000 (Dependant on experience)
- Quarterly Discretionary Bonus
- Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
- 28 days holiday, including bank.
- Pension scheme & Parking on site
