We have an excellent opportunity for two experienced Buyer's to join our Procurement team at our Office in Alfreton. You will perform procurement activities for Eurocell PLC and associated companies, specialising in traded goods procurement activity. This is a key area of our business, and this role plays a pivotal role within our fast-paced and ever-growing company.

**WHAT OUR BUYERS WILL DO**:

- Pro-actively monitoring spend, commitment and savings
- Use a tender process to select the most compliant and cost-effective supplier sources for the business, ensuring quality and performance guarantees
- Producing maintaining and monitoring supply agreements to mitigate business risk and secure best price, quality, and performance
- Managing Supplier Performance and Supplier Relationships
- Contract management and negotiation
- Reporting to the Procurement Manager for Eurocell Building Plastics and supporting the wider Procurement Team and Head of Procurement as required; to ensure department targets and objectives are met

**WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR BUYERS**:

- Previous Buying experience, preferably in a retail/wholesale environment with associated knowledge of manufacturing
- Previous experience in requirements capture
- Strong negotiation skills, supported by a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Ability to establish and build credible relationships both internally and externally
- Strong commercial awareness, aware of competitor activity and customer requirements
- Previous traded goods and resale experience beneficial
- Strong communication, influencing and contract management skills
- Experience in tendering and benchmarking
- Dynamic and able to cope with pace and change
- Have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
- Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards
- SAP experience could be an advantage
- Analytical with good attention to detail
