**SUMMARY**

Love being creative and working with your hands? Think you have what it takes to restore rare, vintage and sentimental treasures? Whether it be a simple zip repair, handle replacement, repairs to leather (dog chews are much more common than you’d think), colour touch-ins or even a complete colour change?

**JOB ROLE**

This position will involve transforming leather accessories with our specialist range of materials and products. Using existing and built-upon leather stitch practice, you'll carry out a refined list of services direct from our flagship store supporting our larger Clinic in the North East. This will include handcrafting damaged leather pieces and linings to repairing the smallest of loose stitches - ensuring every item is brought back to its former glory.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Essential**:

- Previous stitch experience
- Experience hand sewing and use of flatbed machines
- Pattern cutting

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with leather
- Progressed their studies to degree level, preferably within fashion or têxtiles
- Experience of working with a skiving machine
- Ambitious
- Able to work to deadlines
- Work well under time pressures
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Have an enthusiasm for luxury fashion
- Have an artistic interest
- Strong attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,500.00 per year
