**The Role**
As an International Trade Adviser, you will provide companies across the South West Region with advice and support to increase their international competitiveness and help them win business overseas.
Providing expert advice and excellent service, you will identify solutions to help businesses export overseas and grow the number of companies in the region trading internationally.
You will identify and recruit companies and work with experienced exporters to develop new markets, as well as completing in-depth reports, business cases and action plans.
Additionally, you will:

- Accompany companies on overseas visits
- Develop and pilot new commercial products and services
- Update records of all client interactions on the CRM system
**About You**
To be considered as an International Trade Adviser, you will need:

- The ability to help businesses develop the strategic capability and capacity to enable them to compete effectively in international markets
- Knowledge that assists companies in exporting to new markets, particularly emerging markets
- Skill in increasing the number of new exporters
