- Street Scene delivers high standards of grounds maintenance and street cleansing across the Borough. With modern, efficient working practices, we have a multi-skilled workforce that delivers an integrated service. We are looking for committed individuals to contribute to the service and further improve the local environmental quality within Tamworth.
- As part of Street Scene, you will be required to provide the full range of grounds maintenance duties in accordance with agreed standards of service delivery and customer focus. This will include the use and operation of various vehicles (**for which a full driving licence is essential**).
- Summer & winter cyclical operations include all types of mowing, public highways, grassed verges, open spaces, cemeteries, garden schemes and supporting all sport pitches.
- Winter cyclical programs consist of shrub pruning, bed maintenance and all general grounds maintenance operations.
- We are seeking individuals experienced in grounds maintenance and street cleansing to work alongside an established teams within Street Scene.
- Applicants must hold a driving licence and have the ability to work 5 days out of 7 per week, including bank holidays and weekends if required dependant on service demands.
