**Job Title**:Climate & Green Buildings Coordinator**
**Reporting to: P**rogramme Lead: Climate Advocacy & Green Buildings
**About the role**:The role will support the delivery of Reall’s climate and green buildings portfolio and assist the Programme Lead: Climate Advocacy & Green Buildings to drive the organisation’s capacity to become a thought and practice-leader in climate-smart and affordable homes across Urban Africa and Asia. Acting as an agent of change for the climate, the role will support, enable, and coordinate all climate related activities to help Reall deliver climate-positive work and monitor its impact across its markets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Programme Design and Delivery**: work under the overall direction of the Programme Lead - Climate Advocacy and Green Buildings to support the design, development and / or delivery of innovative and affordable climate-smart and resilient solutions. This includes supporting the delivery of Reall’s flagship Green Affordable Housing Finance initiative.
- **Research and Analysis**: carry out research as relevant and provide analytical support to develop thought-leadership pieces. This includes supporting in drafting policy papers, case studies, reviewing reports, conducting desk-based research, and mapping out stakeholders to make meaningful contributions to internal commitments, investments, and debates.
- **Capacity development and knowledge sharing**: support strengthening Reall’s internal capacity and systems on climate and green to aid key decision-making including on investments, business development and external engagement. This includes working closely with Reall’s build and investment teams on developing and checking the green capacity and standards of pipeline projects (such as EDGE certification).
- **Pathway to net zero**: provide support to the Programme Lead - Climate Advocacy and Green Buildings in the implementation of Reall’s climate agenda to achieve its commitment to becoming a Net Zero organisation by 2030. This includes measuring, monitoring, and reporting and coordination of relevant activities that ensure climate is effectively embedded across Reall’s business strands.
- **Relationships and collaboration**: Work closely with Reall’s Programme Lead: Climate Advocacy & Green Buildings to deliver on Reall’s positioning as a thought and practice leader in the Green Affordable Housing space across Urban Africa and Asia, by supporting with sector engagements, partnerships, internal and external events and collaborations. Representing Reall externally as required.
- **Business development and fundraising**: work collaboratively with internal teams to identify climate-focused funding opportunities that align with Reall’s wider proposition and work with the Programme and Business Development team to support the production of concept notes, project proposals, capability statements and other collaterals as well as project implementation and contract management.
**Changes to Responsibilities**
The Chief Executive reserves the right to change the key activities from time-to-time to meet the strategic objectives in accordance with the job role.

**Other requirements**
This role is based in Coventry; we are currently hybrid with homeworking up to three days per week.
The role may include overseas travel.
**Salary**:
£28,000 - £36,000 per annum dependent upon experience

25 days plus 1 additional day for every year of service, plus an additional day off on your birthday
**Probation**:
Six months
