**The position**

As a Monitoring and Diagnostics Dispatcher, you will be part of our Analysis and Operations team. You will work as part of a highly motivated team responsible for monitoring, reporting and analysing RES operated and managed renewable energy assets. You will monitor renewable energy assets and escalate (dispatch) technical issues to field based resources to ensure a rapid response and maintain high asset performance levels

**Key Accountabilities**

The M&D Dispatcher will:

- Monitor assets via SCADA Systems and bespoke monitoring tools
- Analyse events and follow standard procedures to diagnose potential causes
- Dispatch appropriate resources to the event
- Track progress of events in the response phase of the event
- Update systems and administer system data
- Produce production and performance reports

Knowledge

**Skills**:

- Trouble call procedures
- Systems to monitor asset/process performance
- Knowledge of renewable energy plant would be a considerable advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to focus attention for long periods and work under pressure in a dispatch environment
- MS Office skills to intermediate level
- Ability to write and work to strict operational procedures.

Experience

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a monitoring, control or dispatch
- SCADA experience would be a considerable advantage.
- Experience of using data analysis tools
- Experience of using collaboration tools like MS Teams to communicate and work with colleagues would be an advantage.
- Equivalent to NVQ level 3
