**Job overview**:
**An exciting opportunity as arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our Security Team as a Security Supervisor at the NCA.**

The Supervisor will be working across the Fairfield, Oldham & Rochdale Care Organisations.

**Main duties of the job**:
Provide day to day supervision and direction to the security / car parking officers on site. This includes the monitoring and performance of staff, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with current standards operating procedures inline with the risk assessments for the safety and wellbeing of the staff.

Provide day to day support to the Security Operations Manager and Heads of Security in a wide range of duties

Provide a high quality and effective security service for staff, patients & visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Patrolling the sites to protect NCA property, detect and prevent crime.

**Knowledge, Skills, Training, Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Good general education
- Conflict Resolution / physical intervention training
- Experience of leading a front line team across multiple sites
- Knowledge of Mental ACT. this would be gained through relevant training & experiences
- Negotiation skills
- Able to use initiative.
- Able to deal with the public, including to deal fairly but firmly with all customers, including those who may be dissatisfied with the service
- To be customer focussed particularly towards patients and visitors.
- To be a good communicator
- Basic IT keyboard skills
- Able to work alone or part of a team
- Evidence own work load and members within a team
- Full current UK driving licence
- Ongoing Experience of conflict management & physical intervention

**Desirable criteria**:

- Security related qualification or equivalent experience
- Working in an NHS setting
- SIA licence for static
- Working in a busy environment
