**Job overview**:
**This is an exciting time to be joining the Estates and Facilities Department at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust as a Relief Security Officer.**

You will be required to carry out a wide range of security, car parking and portering related duties where required to set procedures and standards, have the ability to use a degree of initiative whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. Hours of work will be a 12-hour shift pattern consisting of days, nights and weekends. This is a Security Officer position to work at the Royal Oldham site.

There will be a requirement that post holder will work a short period of a minimum of 3 months at Rochdale Infirmary site. This is due to awaiting unfinished security control room work. Once the works have been complete at both Oldham & Rochdale. The post holder will then move to work at Royal Oldham full time.

- SIA badges - Front line security or Door Supervisor Qualification
- SIA Badge - CCTV qualification
- Full UK Driving licence
- Conflict resolution and violence & aggression management
- Basic IT skills

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Proven security experience
- Experienced in dealing with conflict violence & aggression management

**Desirable criteria**:

- Working in an NHS setting
- Working in a busy car parking environment
- Ability to alone or part of a team
- Be a good communicator
- To be customer focussed towards staff, patients & visitors
- To able to work on your own initiative
