Finance Assistant

The role of the Finance Assistant is to help assist with day to day running of the finance department, working closely with other finance team members, the finance manager, and the director of finance.

**Description**
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Processing Direct Debits and updating the recurring payment schedules
- Dealing with day-to-day queries from parents and staff.
- Processing staff credit card transactions.
- Responsible for the billing ledger, ensuring up-to-date information is held. Termly billing of fees and extras. Debt collection of outstanding fees.
**Profile**
The successful Finance Assistant applicant will have:
- Experience working within a busy finance department
- Good understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- Proficient IT user including accountancy software, Microsoft Packages, and especially proficient in Excel
- Able to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the post
