Support Worker

We have opportunities for **Support Workers** to join an existing team supporting a young gentleman on a 2:1 basis in the Birstall area of Leicester. If you have experience of working with individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities, personally or professionally, please enquire about this role. If you are good with people and have a passion to work in Social Care, please also get in touch.

We currently have permanent, full and part-time vacancies and also casual vacancies. The role will include the following duties:

- Shopping
- Meal Prep
- Maintaining the home environment
- Social Activities
- Budgeting
- Promoting independence
- Building self-esteem and confidence
- Assistance with personal care

**What is a Support Worker?**

As a Support worker you would be part of a team providing support to an individual with additional needs to the highest standard.

**Shifts**

Example shift patterns include;
Monday to Friday: 09:00-17:00

One full respite weekend per month, examples of shifts below:
Fridays 09:00-22:00, sleep in support 22:00-07:00

Saturdays 07:00-22:00, sleep in support 22:00-07:00

Sundays 07:00-17:00

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
