Our client is a funded, embryonic, SaaS tech company whose flagship product allows e-commerce brands to automate their day-to-day operations, allowing them to free up resources for new product development.

The first version of this dazzling product will be primarily a rule-based automation, while at a later stage it will also incorporate elements of ML; building it out into a full SaaS solution to automate ads, analytics and operations for brands selling onmajor name platforms.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead Full Stack Developer to join the current team of three, expanding to a core team of seven people; as a Tech Lead your position will be pivotal as this exciting business grows.

**Responsibilities**:

- This is primarily a tech lead role: you’ll be hands-on 80% of the time
- You will have 2 direct reports: a senior dev and a junior dev. There is budget in place to hire a third developer if needed in the first six months
- We'd expect you to own all the technical decisions, which include refactoring, architecture, design patterns etc.
- This role could develop into a position of CTO as the company grows, but this is not a must

**Requirements**:

- You have successfully designed, architected and grown a complex code base
- You have excellent back-end skills, ideally full stack
- You have successfully built complex, data heavy products
- You're very comfortable with our stack: Node.js, Typescript, JavaScript, React and Postgres
- You have some experience managing and mentoring developers
- You’re familiar with AWS: no deep knowledge required as we have a devops resource in the team
- Ideally some experience working with ML and AI
