An opportunity has arisen for a highly professional and motivated individual to join the NCA Pathology Division as an Administrative Assistant on a 12month fixed term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team providing complete and professional administrative support, which will require you to work on your own initiative and solve a range of problems, as well as working cohesively with team members. In your role you will specifically support with recruitment admin needs of the service, working efficiently in a busy environment supporting the effective running of Pathology services. Although you will be based at The Royal Oldham Hospital, your role with require you to support all services across NCA Pathology.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team, Pathology Service Managers and Supervisors to provide a comprehensive and confidential overall office administration service supporting all functions of the Pathology Division. In particular, you will provide support in the timely recruitment of staff, working closely with the Trust’s Resourcing team and NHS Professionals to ensure the smooth onboarding of new starters to the Division. You will act as a key point of contact for managers and supervisors seeking recruitment to vacancies, and take a proactive role in following up on recruitment processes, working collaboratively with other administrative colleagues and support staff.

You will be a confident and clear communicator possessing excellent organisational, verbal and written skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will have exceptional customer service skills and will be able to establish and maintain good working relationships.
