**Regulatory Assessment and Conduct Lead**
**London**

As a Barclay’s Regulatory Assessment and Conduct Lead, you will be supporting the management of the regulatory and conduct risk reporting on behalf of Transaction Banking, Wholesale Lending and International and UK Corporate Banking, enabling them to manage it’s first line regulatory compliance risk and conduct risk management and reporting obligations. The role holder will also help drive the risk and control objectives of the Regulatory and Policy Strategy team, ensuring that Group standards and policies are adhered to.

**What will you be doing?**
- Developing commercial & technical understanding of Transaction Banking & Wholesale Lending products and the industry sectors that the business operates globally
- Developing & using knowledge of Transaction Banking & Wholesale Lending products & services to better assess detailed regulatory impact on each of the areas
- Developing and using knowledge of the Businesses products and services to check and challenge Conduct Risks reported by the Product and Coverage teams.
- Contributing to strategic operating enhancements, and develop as an advisor to the front office, on how to manage regulatory risk and enhance internal controls.
- You will be required to embed and maintain exceptional risk and control discipline as and when required
- Managing their own a portfolio of complex regulations and perform impact assessments for these regulations
- Facing off to relevant functions across the business to check, challenge & ensure conduct risk events are reported accurately for purpose of the Conduct Risk Dashboard

**What we’re looking for**:

- Some commercial and technical understanding of Transaction Banking and Wholesale Lending products and business activity across various jurisdictions.
- Prior experience in regulatory/technical analysis of requirements or of control requirements and strong understanding of the Conduct Risk Management Framework
- Proven experience adding value to business stakeholders and delivering positive regulatory risk outcomes and excellent verbal and written communication skills
