The quantitative risk analysis team is responsible for the coordination of the yearly ICAAP, stress test framework and stress test execution across ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP, model support, quantitative risk analytics across all risk classes and IRB implementation.The main objective of the team is to act as a data excellence hub for the rest of the risk function and other functions within the Bank. The breadth of the deliverables and the fact that processes, modelling
- and analytical capabilities are continuously beingdeveloped and improved demands a flexible and collaborative approach from team members to ensure solid team performance in coordination with the business.

This role will work within the IRB project where the goal is to roll out the Internal Ratings Based (IRB) approach to the banks portfolios over the next few years. The analyst will be supporting the IRB regulatory self-assessment process.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work alongside existing team members in successfully implementing IRB in the bank.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Perform horizon scanning around IRB regulations and ensure coordination with the relevant stakeholders across the bank for the assessment of any new regulatory requirements.
Manage the annual IRB attestation process, including coordination and supporting the completion of the IRB regulatory self-assessment, including quality assuring the responses and evidences provided by the relevant stakeholders.
Tracking of the action plans to remediate identified gaps during the self-assessment process.
Provide guidance to different stakeholders on interpretation of regulatory requirements.
Production and maintenance of IRB specific governance documentation in accordance with internal standards.

Role Qualification:
Solid understanding of the IRB regulation (CRR, EBA, PRA)
Be degree educated or equivalent,
Be proactive and able to act on their own initiative;
Deliver high quality outcomes;
Be a strong team player;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, articulate and present complex issues clearly and concisely
Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and represent the bank effectively
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with impact with people at all levels
Integrity and discretion
Ability to work well under pressure
Attention to detail and an organised approach to work
