**Salary**: £65,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience) + car allowance

The Role:
The Regulatory Compliance Assurance Lead will lead the internal regulatory inspection programme that will seek to gain assurance that services are meeting/exceeding regulatory compliance by benchmarking them against the published regulatory frameworks. The post holder will report directly to the Director of Operations and Practice and be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the organisation, therefore providing timely and accurate accounts of regulatory compliance, to enable swift and effective action from the operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring support and education facilitates meaningful lives, and is safe, effective and compliant with all regulatory requirements and agreed best practice
- Lead on the monitoring of key performance indicators (via a Quality Risk Profile for each service) that impact on regulatory compliance and utilise these to enable the post holder and key colleagues to identify risk and inform the inspection regime and frequencies.
- Lead and deliver an expert inspection programme that is carried out at all Kisimul services, at an agreed frequency, based on collaborative risk assessment.
- Work with operational service leaders, the quality team and other enabling teams, and operators to provide close support and coaching that facilitates enhanced capability in all matters that impact regulatory compliance, that ensures sustainable solutions
- Maintain up to date and in depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks and ensure that inspection methods and approaches are consistently in line with that of our regulators.

We are looking for an individual who has:
- Significant experience in; developing and leading frameworks and processes for gaining assurance in regulatory assurance, social care service leadership, safeguarding and continuous quality improvement.
- Extensive sector knowledge and a full understanding of the regulatory and best practice frameworks, and the underpinning frameworks, practice and assurance mechanisms that need to be in place to ensure delivery of high quality, and services that are compliant with, and exceed, regulatory requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding best practice and process, and the associated legislation, and an understanding of how this is applied in practice
- Significant and demonstratable expertise in working with, and improving, services for children and adults with very complex and safeguarding needs and autism/learning disability
- Highly credible and able to quickly build effective working relationships, engaging and influencing at all stakeholder levels
