**£12.95 -£15.50 per hour, based on experience, with regular wage reviews based on abilities.**

EPA Manufacturing Ltd is a leading specialist manufacturer working within the global Defence Industry. Established for over 15 years. Due to continued expansion, we have recently moved to a brand-new facility, near the city of Lincoln, at Wickenby.

**Objectives**

Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance procedures and standards, develop improved standards for production, design, and testing.

Maintain accurate records and document all QA activities including root-cause analysis and corrective actions

Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance

**Quality Assurance Inspector responsibilities and duties**

Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing to ensure they meet quality standards

Investigate quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements

Record inspection and test data and communicate findings to other departmental teams.

Perform visual inspections, measurements, and other quality control checks as needed.

Collaborate with production teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues before and during manufacturing processes.

Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results.

Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas.

Document and report all non-conformance issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Evaluate and suggest improvements to quality control procedures and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Audit and monitor suppliers to ensure their products meet quality standards.

**Quality Controller qualifications and skills**

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality inspector role. A thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

A full understanding of measurement techniques, familiarity with testing equipment, competent in the use of micrometers, verniers including vision machines. and able to read drawings.

Computer literate and with a general working knowledge of MS Office.

**Hours**

Five Day Week - 8am - 4.30pm

Working outside of these hours, including shift work, will be contractually required from time to time.

Wages: £12.95 -15.50 depending on experience.
