We are looking for a **Compliance Officer** who will contribute to our well-established, award-winning clients success by playing a critical role in maintaining our clients legal and ethical standing, ensuring the company is following its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws.

**THE ROLE**

As a **Compliance Officer** your key duties and responsibilities will be:

- Audit suppliers and manufacturers (both paper-based and via site visits) to ensure robust due-diligence processes.
- Monitor warehouse and cleanroom operations and update SOPs considering these findings.
- Oversee our stock taking processes to ensure their accuracy.
- Act as the face of the company when liaising with third parties on compliance issues.
- Spearhead product traceability and product recall functions.
- Take responsibility for our existing certifications and registrations, putting systems in place to ensure these are regularly monitored, maintained, and renewed.
- Stay abreast of any changes to the compliance landscape, ensuring we respond in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Proactively seek continual improvement in our levels of compliance across the business and evaluate business activities for compliance risk.
- Build a thorough, in-depth knowledge of the company and an awareness of where possible regulatory breaches may occur.

**THE CANDIDATE**

Experience required to be a successful **Compliance Officer** includes:

- Previous work as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager
- Familiarity with risk management principles
- Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal requirements and controls
- Excellent communication skills
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Business Acumen: the ability to understand business operations and objectives
- Teamwork and Attention to Detail: Collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field
